Downsizing and deceased estate clearance, Upper North Shore

Clearing a family home is not a rubbish job, and we never treat it as one. Whether it's a move to somewhere smaller or the house of someone you've lost, we work quietly, at your pace, with the things that matter set aside the moment we find them.

What you can expect from us

1

A quiet conversation first

You tell us the situation, we listen. If you're an executor, or organising from interstate, we're used to working around probate timing, agent schedules and family who need to walk through first. Nothing is booked until you're ready.

2

A walk through the house, together or on your behalf

We look at every room, the garden, the shed and the under-house, and agree what happens to each: family, charity, or gone. You hear one all-in figure for the whole clearance before anything is touched.

3

Set aside before anything else

Photographs, letters, jewellery boxes, war medals, the drawer of documents every house has. Anything that looks like it matters goes onto a cloth on the dining table, not into a load. We'd rather set aside too much than too little.

4

Good things go to good homes

Furniture and household goods with life left in them go to charity where they'll be accepted, and we tell you what went where. What can't be rehomed is sorted properly, e-waste and mattresses to the right facilities, not the nearest hole.

5

The house left ready

Swept through, garden tidied if you'd like it, keys back in your hand. Ready for the agent, the tenant, or simply for one last quiet look around.

Downsizing, without the drama

A move from a forty-year family home to a village or apartment is its own kind of clearance: most of the house is coming with you or going to family, and what's left still deserves care. We work in around the move itself, clearing what stays behind after the removal truck has gone, so you hand back or sell a house that's genuinely done. The under-house and the shed, the parts a furniture truck never touches, are usually where we're needed most.

We're happy to work alongside your agent, your solicitor or a village transition coordinator, and to be the one part of the week that simply handles itself.

When you're ready

There's no rush from our side, ever. When it's time, send a few words through and we'll arrange a quiet conversation. If it helps to read how the whole thing proceeds first, we've written it down plainly in how an estate clearance proceeds.
